HEALTH CARE TOWN HALL OF LANCASTER COUNTY

HOSTED BY UNITE PA - A Member of the 9.12 Project

The purpose of the Town Hall is to educate our citizens about the the affects of Nationalizing Health Care on a personal, financial and policy level.  Nationalizing Health Care will affect every single person in the United States.  The doctor-patient relationship must be preserved while the quality and care outcomes improve. And of course, limiting the overall growth in the cost of health care and health insurance.

The Washington Post reported last week on the findings of its own national poll: "Most respondents are 'very concerned' that health-care reform would lead to higher costs, lower quality, fewer choices, a bigger deficit, diminished insurance coverage and more government bureaucracy."

We will be hosting several speakers who are extremely knowledgable regarding the current legislation, health care policies, the reality of coverage without care, the potential for skyrocketing costs, the use of electronic medical records and many other topics.

There will be a question and answer period of fifteen minutes after each speaker.  Microphones will be placed at the end of the isle where participants can engage the speakers with open questions.

Thank you for ordering your FREE Tickets and we look forward to seeing you on July 10th.

This invitation may be forwarded to your family, friends, personal physicians or anyone who is concerned about the upcoming changes in how the country manages your health care.

FREE WILL DONATIONS GLADLY ACCEPTED.

PRESS RELEASE

HEALTH CARE TOWN HALL RALLY SET FOR LANCASTER COUNTY

On the heels of the Presidential Health Care Press Conference, Lancaster County weighs in on the debate.

Lancaster County, PA -- July 2, 2009-- Americans are seeking the truth when it comes to the proposed Health Care Plan. On July 10th, UnitePa will be giving Pennsylvanians the opportunity to hear the facts about Nationalizing our Health Care system. There is a lot of discussion about rationing, long waiting lines for treatment and being denied care. People are fearful that their age or their prior conditions may put them in a category that allows the government to dictate who should be eligible for care. Recent polls have shown that "most respondents are 'very concerned' that health-care reform would lead to higher costs, lower quality, fewer choices, a bigger deficit, diminished insurance coverage and more government bureaucracy."

Obama promises that there will be a Private Sector Health Care option, however, all signs are pointing to the complete overhaul of the current system, eventually eliminating the private sector. Setting up a newcompany, "the U.S. Government", would eliminate all competition to the point where eventually a monopoly exists via the federal health care system. It is illegal and unconstitutional. If the government controls the supply and the population controls the demand, there will not be an economic equilibrium becausea competitive market will not exist.

Pennsylvanian’s want some answers, and they want to have their voices heard. UnitePa will be presenting three Health Care experts on July 10th, at their Town Hall Rally in Lititz, Pa.; Mr. Scandlen of the Heartland Institute, Nathan Benefield of the Commonwealth Foundation and Kathryn Serkes of the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons. Citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in the town hall.
